Celebrating his legacy

As we have all had some time to grieve his loss, we would like this event to be all about him. We will start sharing stories at 3:00pm and all are welcome to participate. Prior to the event, you are encouraged, if you haven’t already to read his story on this site.

We will have non-alcoholic beverages and appetizers and casual attire is fine!

Gravesite location

For those wishing to see his gravesite, here is a link to his specific location at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. As the headstones all look the same, the link will help. Otherwise, once you get there – look for the walk-way towards the right. If you walk up that gap in the stones, he’s on your left, two from the back, second one in. The backs of the headstones have a number and he’s 2061. If you like turn-by-turn directions into the cemetery:

• Enter on Labelle (main entrance)
• Right on Peck Ave (at the round-about)
• Left on Sorenson
• Drive to the plot on the right-hand side
